Caleffi 3way Pressure Reducing Valves

The new Caleffi 3-way pressure reducing valve has just arrived and is now available. It incorporates an additional port at the bottom of the valve to allow for various configurations. This innovation has come about through a need for reducing valves to form the right angle in some meter connections. A patent is pending.

The 3-Way “dual outlet” pressure reducing valve comes standard with a plug to seal one outlet, meaning the valve can be used in three different configurations:-
- Straight Through
- Right Angle
- Dual Outlet
The “dual outlet” configuration should be particularly handy under sink situations when connecting to both dishwashers and flickmixers, and, also for water heater installations where one outlet would go directly into the storage hot water heater and the other outlet goes to the cold water inlet of the tempering valve.
The new Caleffi #533550 pressure reducing valves have been factory set at 500kPa to be inline with the AS3500 regulations. The valve is adjustable between 100-500kPa , and is capable of regulating the water pressure to an entire home. At present, the Caleffi 533550 is available in 20mm (3/4”).
